Aluminum Anodizing Capabilities
Futura offers an in-house anodizing and finishing facility, and you get the high-performance anodizied aluminum tubing and finishing you need to ensure your product’s quality. We make anodized aluminum with the streamlined, cost-effective processes you need to protect your project’s budget.
Our 2-step aluminum anodizing process delivers a superior finish that won’t fade for decades. Our in-house facilities help you reduce charges, like scrap overages and freight damage, that incur when working for multiple vendors. To reduce your costs further, we streamline our racking methods. It’s all part of our commitment to lean manufacturing and your project’s success. Our finishing processes incorporate both types of sulfuric anodizing (Type II or Commercial Anodizing) with organic and inorganic coloring methods to deliver a wide range of attractive, durable colors.
Organic means that the coloring in the anodization is not “color fast/light fast” or resistant to fading when exposed to UV light exposure. Inorganic aluminum anodize is “color fast/light fast” and offers fade resistance against UV light exposure.
All New Anodizing Line.
Our new state of the art anodizing line includes 37 process tanks, including four anodizing tanks. The new line includes a state of the art steam system and electronic controls allowing each of the 37 tanks to operate independently from one another. Controls allow the option to add chemical, RO and culinary water, as well as steam remotely.
Futura also added a 300 ton chiller which is backed up by a 200 and 100 ton chiller used to control the temperature of the process tanks.
Tanks will accommodate a maximum 25’ length, and will provide clear acid and caustic etch finishes, to brass and nickel dye, and champagne, bronze, and black colors.
Anodized Aluminum Colors & Finishes
We specialize in highly decorative aluminum finishes and offer a full color spectrum, from bright dipped and etched finishes to marine finishes and hard coating. We can also accommodate and match custom colors and finishes upon request.
Why Choose Anodized Aluminum?
Anodizing aluminum increases the resistance of corrosion and wear to provide better adhesion for paint primers and glues that do not include metal. Anodized aluminum is also used for many cosmetic effects with either thick coatings that absorb anodized aluminum dye or thin transparent coatings that reflect light.
