Great Strides Walk, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Futura sponsored and supported the Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Walk for the second year. Despite the cold and hail, several people gathered and walked to support the great cause, this group included many employees from Futura Industries.
The fundraiser fired off with music, a delicious breakfast, a raffle booth, followed by the walk up the Ogden Parkway. The walk raised over $70,000 for the CF Foundation, $19,000 of which was collected the day of the walk.
Volunteer Employees from Futura ran the raffle booth and collected an additional $1,079.
Futura was thanked by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for all effort put forth in helping coordinate the event, gather prizes for the raffle, manning the raffle booth and for all the volunteers.
Despite the weather, It truly was a great event. Futura was pleased to be a part of it!
