MEP selects futura as 2006 manufacturer of the year

Utah Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) has selected Futura Industries as 2006 Manufacturer of the Year. Futura Industries was selected due to their robust systems and processes in the areas of Employee Involvement & Satisfaction, Manufacturing Execution, Cost and Profitability Controls, and Customer Satisfaction. Execution in these areas had led Futura Industries to realize significantly superior returns on capital employed than their peers in North America. Their excellent performance contributes to the viability of Utah's manufacturing base. A special dinner with the State of Utah Lt. Governor Gary Herbert was held at the state capital on February 7th.
