The William L Bonnell Company Inc., (“Bonnell Aluminum”) announced today that its parent company, Tredegar Corporation (NYSE:TG), has agreed to acquire 100% ownership of Futura Industries (“Futura”). Upon the closing of the transaction, which is expected by mid-February, Futura will become an operating division of Bonnell Aluminum.
Bonnell Aluminum and its operating division, AACOA, Inc., are among the industry’s premier manufacturers of custom finished aluminum extruded products. The company’s multiple manufacturing facilities include 13 extrusions presses ranging from 1,550 to 5,500-tons, 2 casting operations, 2 electrostatic paint lines, 3 anodizing lines, and a full range of CNC machines, precision saws and fabrication equipment, significantly broadening Futura’s existing line of products and services.
Bonnell Aluminum and Futura share critical values centered on understanding the processes required to consistently meet and exceed customers’ expectations.
