Anodized Aluminum
Aluminum Anodizing Capabilities
Futura offers an in-house anodizing and finishing facility, and you get the high-performance anodizied aluminum tubing and finishing you need to ensure your product’s quality. We make anodized aluminum with the streamlined, cost-effective processes you need to protect your project’s budget.
Our 2-step aluminum anodizing process delivers a superior finish that won’t fade for decades. Our in-house facilities help you reduce charges, like scrap overages and freight damage, that incur when working for multiple vendors. To reduce your costs further, we streamline our racking methods. It’s all part of our commitment to lean manufacturing and your project’s success. Our finishing processes incorporate both types of sulfuric anodizing (Type II or Commercial Anodizing) with organic and inorganic coloring methods to deliver a wide range of attractive, durable colors.
Organic means that the coloring in the anodization is not “color fast/light fast” or resistant to fading when exposed to UV light exposure. Inorganic aluminum anodize is “color fast/light fast” and offers fade resistance against UV light exposure.
All New Anodizing Line.
Our new state of art anodizing line has increased our anodizing capacity by 30% and gives us new automated process controls. The added capacity will allow us to support the future growth of our customers’ business and stabilize lead times. Cutting edge automation tools on each of our 37 tanks allow us to monitor and balance the process parameters of each tank. Greater process controls translates to even better consistency in our anodize finishes and further reduces the potential of rework and disruptions to customers’ orders. Our new tanks can process 25-ft long material in all of the various finishes we offer. For a list of available finishes, please see below. For more options please contact your sales representative.

Why Choose Anodized Aluminum?
Anodizing aluminum increases the resistance of corrosion and wear to provide better adhesion for paint primers and glues that do not include metal. Anodized aluminum is also used for many cosmetic effects with either thick coatings that absorb anodized aluminum dye or thin transparent coatings that reflect light.
